Washington school districts rely on local voter-approved measures to fund educational programs, technology, and school facilities. State funding alone does not cover the full cost of running a school district. Bonds are for Buildings. Levies are for Learning. Schools need both.

The University Place School District has three measures on the February 2026 Special Election ballot:
