Public Works

 

All construction work done on District property is considered "public works" and is subject to Washington State laws regulating public work. This includes paying prevailing wages. Current prevailing wage rates and Intent and Affidavit forms are required of all contractors and sub-contractors. Wage rates and forms are available on the Washington State Department of Labor & Industries website: WA Dept of Labor & Industries Prevailing Wage Search (click to open).  


MRSC Rosters

University Place School District maintains our Small Public Works Roster in the MRSC Rosters online database for all projects under $300,000.00. Businesses interested to work with our school district on projects using a roster contracting process, must register at MRSC Rosters and select University Place School District in your application. If you have roster registration questions, please contact MRSC Rosters at support@mrscrosters.zendesk.com.

 

Formal Bid Projects (over $300,000)

 

Only those projects that have a very large bid packet or are utilizing the Formal bid process are posted here. All other projects are sent out by invitation utilizing our MRSC Roster.

University Place School District Capital Construction Program

 

RELEASE OF RFQ:                          March 04, 2026

MANDATORY SITE VISIT:               March 23, 2026 – 3:45 pm PT

SUBMISSION DEADLINE:              March 25, 2026 – 3:00 pm PT

 

University Place School District in University Place Washington is accepting Statements of Qualifications for Architectural and Engineering Services for their Capital Construction Program. Download the complete RFQ here. 

 

UPSD is also accepting Statements of Qualifications, in the form of a detailed résumé outlining area(s) of expertise, relevant experience, and availability, submitted to jennifer.halleck@esd112.org for the following consulting services: cultural resources, SEPA, geotechnical, hazardous materials, transportation, sound, lighting, land survey, building envelope, and civil engineering. There is no mandatory site visit and no separate RFQ for these services. Submissions are due by the date listed above.
