What is Childfind?
The process of locating and identifying children (ages 3-5) with disabilities is known as "Childfind". The Individuals with Disabilities Education Act (IDEA) requires all school districts to locate, evaluate and provide services to individuals with disabilities from birth to age 21.
How do I Register for Childfind?
For children ages 3-5 living within the University Place School District, please contact the Special Services department at 253-566-5645 to register for the next available appointment.

For students who are currently enrolled, please contact your child's teacher or school psychologist at their home school.
For students over the age of 5 and currently enrolled, please contact your child's teacher or school psychologist at their home school.
