What is Childfind?

The process of locating and identifying children with disabilities is known as "Childfind". The Individuals with Disabilities Education Act (IDEA) requires all school districts to locate, evaluate and provide services to individuals with disabilities from birth to age 21.

If you are concerned about your child's development and have questions related to whether your child has a disability, please contact us.

For students who are not yet school age, please call our special services office to set up an appointment at our next early childhood Childfind, 253-566-5645.

For students who are currently enrolled, please contact your child's teacher or school psychologist at their home school.

For students who are not currently enrolled, please contact our special services office.
